Must be created in New Mexico over the past year.
Submissions will open on April 1, 2025.
No submission fee.

Prizes
$500 cash awarded to the film that wins the Festival’s grand prize, Le Palme d’Coal, sponsored by Beer Creek Brewing Company.
$500 cash awarded to the film that wins the best local Madrid film prize, the “Oscar” Huber, sponsored by the Mine Shaft Tavern.
$25 Beer Creek gift cards for all award-winning films.

The 8th Annual Madrid Film Festival will return to sold-out crowds at the Engine House Theater in Madrid, New Mexico, in August, 2025.
